 | 25/29 March | 22° Sunnyland Antique Boat Festival,at Lake Dora, in Florida. By invitation from some members and from the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club, RHS will participate to this event of ACBS, where Riva will be the featured boat, an exhibition where we can admire the best historic American boats. The festival will see shows, parades, exhibitions in the water and a large flea market where to find accessories and spare parts for our boats.
Program Wednesday, registration and set-up at Wooton Park. Thursday, registration and set-up at Wooton Park. Lake cruise and picnic. Riva/Chris Craft Reception at Lakeside Inn, hosted by Hagerty Ins. | 29 April/3 May | Barche & Barchette ” at Capri. The Yacht Club Capri organizes this event in collaboration with Riva Society Italia and the Club Morgan Italia, which this year celebrates the centennial of the cars from Malvern. The event, by invitation, will see the boats and cars compete in reliability trials. The two brands of the myth of the Fifties and Sixties are connected by their love for wood: the shining mahogany of the Rivas and the beechwood in the Morgans. Ten owners of the runabouts and ten gentlemen drivers will form crews that will compete in a contest in the sea in front of the Faraglioni and a contest on the road between Capri and Anacapri. The results of the two contests will be summed to award the Gentleman Driver Trophy. Rolex, main sponsor of the Yacht Club Capri, and NDC Made by Hand, the technical partner for the footwear of the crews, will be present in this edition

| 9/10 May | The Yacht Club Milano invites the members of Riva Historical Society to
two days on the Naviglio Grande, the main and first built (1179) of the canals that connected the city to the rivers and, through them, Switzerland on one side and the Adriatic Sea on the other. On Saturday there is the Concours d’Elegance, with parade on the Naviglio and on Sunday the trip Milano Abbiategrasso and back, after the Palio of the Boroughs.

| 22/24 May | The area of the Overijssel: with the Riva Society Nederland.
Indicative program Friday, launching at Sail and Motor Yacht club Deventer, lunch at the floating restaurant, then cruise of the river IJssel by Zwolle Hasselt to Zwartsluis. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel Zwartewater. In the evening visit of the town of Giethoorn, the Dutch Venice, built around 1230 by some fugitives from the Mediterranean coasts. The town can be visited only on foot or bicycle, and the canals can be cruised only with electric or rowing boats. Saturday, tour by Genemuiden and Vollenhove direction Blokzijl. Lunch at the restaurant Geertien at Muggenbeet. Departure back to Zwartsluis and gala dinner at the Zwartewater. Sunday, return to Deventer, hauling and mooring. Prize giving and end of the event. |
| 29 May/2 June | 2nd Historic Festival” at Viareggio. Patronage of RHS for the event organized with the support of the City and the Port of Viareggio. Besides the usual trip to Torre del Lago Puccini, this year the novelty is the Rally on the Arno.
Indicative program Friday, arrival and welcome gala dinner. Saturday, navigation along the pine forest of Migliarino to the mouth of the river Arno and cruising of the river to the city of Pisa, mooring and buffet lunch. Visit of the historic area and the Campo dei Miracoli. Return to Viareggio. Dinner at Circolo Nautico Versilia. Sunday, navigation in the sea. Fish and chips. Concours d'elegance. Gala dinner at the Bussola. Monday, cruising of the canal Burlamacca to the lake Massaciuccoli,lunch at Torre del Lago. Free evening. Tuesday, hauling of the boats and prize giving. Transfer by sea or road to La Spezia for those who want to take part to the Boating Festival. Their runabouts will be in exhibition under a tent on the dockyard of the Marina Militare of La Spezia. Hotel hospitality from 11 to 16 June will be offered to the exhibitors. |
| 2/15 June | Boating Festival at La Spezia, with the patronage of the City and the Navy and the cooperation of several vintage boats associations. Until the 7th there will be the regattas of the J80. Then, the vintage sails of AIVE will arrive and moor inside the Arsenal. At the back of their pier there will be the tents for the antique dealers and marine painters and a large tent for the Rivas and Chris Crafts of RHS in exhibition. The 10th is the Day of the Navy. In the following days there will be various sailing regattas and the start of the Durand de la Penne Trophy (valid for the Panerai Trophy). The training ships, ships and submarines of the Navy will be open to visits. Exhibitions, demonstrations by carpenters, visits to the maxi-yachts and sails built by the yards of the Gulf will fill the days. There will also be the National competition of powered models and an International exhibition of static models.
Indicative program: From 2 to 11 June, exhibition of the runabouts in an area on the dockyard of the Navy. Thursday, launchings, opening of the event, free evening. Friday, cruise to the Cinqueterre, picnic and bath. Social dinner. Saturday, exhibition in port. Dinner at Le Grazie. Sunday, visit to the Riva yard, buffet lunch. Cruise of the river Magra. | 13/14 June | 3rd Trencant Onades at Sant Feliu de Guixols. The Riva Club de Catalunya organizes the annual meeting in a different location than last year. Sant Feliu de Guixols is a beautiful village on the Costa Brava and the Catalan members are very friendly. The meeting is postponed to September, we are waiting for the new date. |
| 18/21 June | 8th Rare Boat Show on Lake Annecy. The President of the Riva Club de France organizes the meeting this year with a different rhythm, parties, navigation and an exhibition of the old photos of the boats of the lake. The boats will be hosted at the Summer Camp Lakeside at Sèvrier
Program: Thursday, launching of the boats, free evening. Night cruise of the lake. Friday, breakfast at Summer Camp Lakeside, navigation, lunch at Palace Beach at Menthon, navigation, Savoyard evening around the fire. Saturday, breakfast at Summer Camp Lakeside, navigation, lunch at Espace Lac Angon in Talloires, navigation, beach party at the restaurant Aquarama in Talloires. Sunday, navigation, brunch at the Hotel de l’Abbaye in Talloires, concours d’elegance and prize giving. |

| 9/13 July | 13th Riva Days on Lake Iseo. RHS wants to recall the first "RHS Riva Days", which was held in Sarnico in 1999. With the cooperation of the Riva Yard, RAM and B&C, it is a meeting of friends who share the same passion. Cruises on the lake from Sarnico to Montisola, from Iseo to Lovere, will create the opportunity to navigate together. (Program) (Form) |
| 22/25 July | 12th Run&Fun of the Riva Club Sweden,
at Nynashamn, at the extreme South of the Archipelago. Almost 100 years ago, this town hosted the sailing competitions of the Olympic Games in 1912.
Program: Wednesday, welcome at base harbour. Launchings. Barbecue party. Thursday, skippers meeting and route planning to Rassa Vikar. Picnic delivered by a 100 years old boat. Trip back. Sauna. Riva Seafood Dinner. Friday, by car, visit to a brewery. Competition: find the nearby islands that gave their name to a beer and bring a bottle as proof. Picnic. By boat, barbecue party at the Bay of Knappelskär. Saturday, free morning. Gala lunch and prize giving ceremony. |
| 6/9 August | The "3rd Carlo Riva Trophy" at Potsdam . The Riva Club Deutschland celebrates its tenth anniversary with this international event in Potsdam, the summer residence of the Prussian kings, near Berlin.
Indicative program: Thursday, launchings and registration, welcome cocktail, social dinner. Friday, tour of the lakes, with lunch at Potsdam, to Berlin. Barbeque dinner. Saturday, tour of the lakes in the Havelland, picnic, guided tour of Sansouci Castle, dinner at the restaurant of the castle. Sunday, concours d’elegance, sailor skill trial, trip by ferry to Berlin, dinner at the restaurant of the Reichstag. Monday, hauling of the boats. (Program) (Form) |

| 10/13 September | 5th Vintage Motor Yacht meetingat Imperia. RHS patronizes this biennial event for all types of motor boats, organized by the City of Imperia.

| 14/20 September | "9th Classic Week" at Monaco. The biennial festival of the Yacht Club Monaco, dedicated to vintage motor- and sailing yachts of historic significance, that are part of the exclusive "Belle Classe", is open this year, by invitation, to the "Glamour" of the Riva runabouts. A village with marine painters, photographers, and nautical antiques will be part of the event, the purpose of which is to celebrate the 25 years presidency of the Yacht Club by S.A.S. the Prince Albert 2nd and the 100 years of the Tuiga, with a large participation of boats to honour it.
Program: Wednesday, arrival of the Rivas by trailer or lorry. First sailing regatta. Thursday, sailing regattas, contests of flags and signals for the motor-yachts, whistling contest for the steam boats; evening of the crews. Friday, launching of the boats, in the afternoon sailor skills trial and reliability trial for Rivas and steam boats. Dinner of the owners and prize giving for the Belle Classe. Saturday, in the morning concours d’elegance for sailing boats and regatta of the yachts, in the afternoon concours d’elegance for motor-yachts and runabouts, strictly in a Belle Epoque outfit. Exhibition in the water for Rivas and steam boats. Evening celebration of the 100 years of Tuiga and presentation of the “Personality of the Sea 2009” award by S.A.S. the Prince Albert 2nd.
